Following the heartbreaking martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, His Eminence Ayatollah Khamenei (may his soul be sanctified), the great leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the profound sorrow of losing this towering figure who, in fact, brought an era to its conclusion, the Assembly of Experts of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, consisting of prominent and esteemed jurists, in light of the critical and sensitive circumstances currently facing the Islamic world and the Islamic Revolution of Iran, has elected and introduced Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini-Khamenei as the third leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
This election was made considering the urgent need for spiritual, religious, and political leadership in the Islamic world, as well as the importance of having a wise, brave, just, and insightful leader in order to further the lofty goals of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. The formal announcement of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini-Khamenei as the successor to the martyred Imam was made on the night of the 19th of Ramadan, a month in which divine blessings and grace reach their peak.
Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini-Khamenei is an esteemed scholar, jurist, ascetic, experienced individual, and one well-aware of both domestic and international matters. He has spent many years teaching advanced courses in the Islamic Seminary and has had an active and effective presence during the struggle between truth and falsehood, as well as in the eight-year Holy Defense. He has always been a strong supporter and a key ally of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, in the fields of science, culture, and politics, and has contributed significantly to the cause under his leadership.
I urge the great nation of Iran, all those interested in the Islamic Revolution across the African continent, dear believers, esteemed scholars, and especially the revolutionary youth and pioneers of scientific and religious fields throughout the Islamic world, to take this opportunity to benefit from the guidance and leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei. He will continue the path of Imam Khomeini (may Allah be pleased with him) and the martyred Imam Khamenei (may Allah be pleased with him), and will carry the flag of defending the oppressed.
In conclusion, I pray to Allah the Almighty for the success and prosperity of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and ask for a long, blessed life full of health and vitality for him. May he, like the great leaders of the Islamic Revolution, be a source of goodness, blessings, and guidance for the Iranian nation and all Muslims around the world.
